We know that COVID-19 is impacting all of us in different ways. Many valuable professionals lost their jobs due to the crisis, while others are finding it hard to be homebound for so long.

This fall at Le Wagon Montreal, we’re doing our part by helping the best way we know how: contributing great content and networking opportunities for our local community. We are EXTRA active this season with free tech workshops and events.

⚡️ For the first time, we are offering two free online interactive learning series: Programming for everybody and Data Science for everybody. These two series include live sessions with our teachers, a private slack channel, and access to our online platform with exercises, quizzes, and everything needed for you to get coding.

⚡️ We are also hosting inspiring Wagon Talks: informal discussions with inspiring, successful local entrepreneurs.

⚡️ We are proud partners of 2 great events happening this fall: Cooperathon and MTL Connecte, who will be offering workshops and activities as part of their online programming.

Programming for everybody & Data Science for everybody

During the month of November, join our instructors at lunchtime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for live classes in programming with Ruby or data analysis with Python — your choice. These exclusive learning series are packed with extra resources and offered for free to selected candidates. Applications are now open! Submit yours by October 28th to save your seat.

Interested in Open Innovation? Participate in the Cooperathon!

Cooperathon is the largest Open Innovation challenge in Canada and we are proud partners of the event this year. On October 22nd at 4 pm, we are offering a workshop on Data Analytics with Python for participants. They’ll discover the basics of programming with Python and get quickly immersed in the daily life of a Data Analyst through concrete business cases using datasets from the real world.

MTL Connecte: a MUST for the local tech community

We’re also proud to be partners of this great event happening in October that fosters an international tech community. Boasting 9 thematic pavilions, 300 hours of content plus 16 hours of live content per day across 3 time zones, this is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss if you’re into tech. We’ll offer two events at MTL Connecte :
